During the 2017 southern California wildfires, I found myself wanting to know more about them. Specifically, I wanted to figure out the important details: the number of forces employed to contain the wildfires, how many structures were destroyed or damaged, the acreage burned, and the overall size of the fire.
I wondered if there would be any correlations between the size of the wildfires, the total number of forces employed to extinguish them, and the total number of damaged structures.
